CSV RESCUE TERMS
Written scope and price before paid work starts.
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Quote requests
Submitting the form is free and does not create an obligation to buy. A final scope, price, delivery estimate, file-transfer method, and payment method must be agreed in writing before work starts.
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for providing a lawful copy of the CSV, explaining the intended result, keeping a current Shopify catalog backup, reviewing the repaired file, and testing imports carefully. Remove secrets or unrelated personal information before sharing a file.
Scope and revisions
The written quote defines the included work. Changes outside that scope can require a new quote. A reasonable correction of an error introduced by the agreed repair is included, but new requests or source-data changes are separate work.
No platform guarantee
VariantSafe can repair CSV structure and formatting, but Shopify can still reject or alter imports because of store configuration, access limits, remote images, existing catalog data, platform changes, or other conditions outside the file. No ranking, revenue, or uninterrupted-operation guarantee is provided.
Payment, cancellation, and refunds
Payment terms are shown in the accepted quote or invoice. If paid work has not started, a cancellation can normally be refunded. Once work has started or a repaired deliverable has been supplied, refunds are limited to cases where the agreed service was not delivered, subject to applicable law.
Data handling
The free checker runs locally in the browser. The quote form does not upload a CSV. Any later file transfer is used only to review and perform the requested work and should follow the method agreed by email.
Independent service
VariantSafe is an independent utility and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify.
